Maryam Khastoo is an Iranian-Welsh documentary, portrait and travel photographer.

With a Master's degree in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism from the University of Westminster, her versatile photographic approach can be seen throughout her work, which has touched on a variety of subjects, with a focus on issues of migration and identity in Iran.

Growing up in Wales, Maryam became increasingly aware of how the West viewed Iran and its people and through her personal projects, she seeks to contribute to the understanding of Iran and her people.
